Life lately as a young adult has been a bit challenging ; with trying to figure out my career goals, work, and what I want to do in life it can be overwhelming . This type of stress makes me second-guess my existence sometimes , not in a suicide way, but more in a way of, “why am I really here?
I was having a conversation with my sister the other day and we discussed how as Christians the amount of trials we have to endure can be exhausting. So I decided to just take some time to study Apostle Paul and what he went through as a Christian
Apostle Paul is a prime example of someone who has gone through countless trials and each one of them built his character
•Stoned/ Dragged ( Acts 14: 19-20)
• Beaten/ Thrown into prison ( Acts 16: 22-24)
• Shipwreck (Acts 27)
I am not sure how Paul was feeling in the moment of these hardships but I’m pretty sure somewhere down the line he felt drained with everything he went through. Paul knew, though that God had him there, and he was not done with him yet.
No matter how much I despise living sometimes, God is not letting me go anytime soon.
One of my favorite scriptures right now is Psalms 27:3 NKJV
“Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.”
I’ve decided if this is where God wants me to be, alive here on this earth. I might as well make myself comfortable and handle these trials like it’s nothing new to me. Overcome these daily obstacles of lies and tormenting thoughts with the confidence that God has given me.
You are strong and you will get through the conflicts you’re facing! God knows you are tired, don’t lose hope.
