These past few weeks have been difficult because I have been feeling defeated. You know when you are sure about some things in your life, then out of nowhere, the enemy tries to confuse you or make you feel tiny? A quick reminder, the enemy has no true power over you when you have God in your life.
One scripture that will remind you that you have authority is...
Luke 10:19- "Behold, I have given you authority to tread serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you."
At the beginning of Luke 10: 1-18, Jesus sent 72 other disciplines 2 by 2 off to spread the news of Jesus Christ. After the disciples came back, they were happy because even the demons obeyed them when using Jesus's name! Then in verse 19, Jesus reminds them they have authority over the enemy.
Many times we forget the authority we have over the enemy. God says we have the power to trample on snakes and scorpions' heads; with that power, the enemy can’t harm us. Acknowledge your God-given authority! Use that authority in all your battles. Pray like you have God's army behind you! God didn’t say put the whole armor on for no reason! Remember, YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY!!!

Amen
